Juliana Romano grew up in Santa Monica and is a former student of the Brentwood Art Center. She received an MFA in Painting at UCLA in 2008 and has taught art to people of all ages, from kindergarteners to adults. She was a Professor of Drawing at Wesleyan University in Connecticut from 2011-2014 and before that she worked in museum education at MOCA in Los Angeles.
Juliana Romano’s painting investigates color, form, expression and abstraction through representational imagery. She has had solo exhibitions of her work in Los Angeles, New York and Europe.
