Juliet Curry is a passionate arts educator deeply dedicated to developing rich arts experiences that connect the arts to the whole person. She strives to build upon children’s innate abilities to dream and create.
Juliet has worked for over twenty years with children, teaching a variety of arts based programs, while focusing on innovative ways to integrate the arts into all learning. In 2005, Juliet created and founded SmART Space, Creative Arts Programs, a unique arts enrichment company in West Los Angeles.
In her work with SmART Space over ten years, Juliet designed, implemented and facilitated arts programs and community events that promote innovative thinking and encourage children to develop their own voice. Through her programs with SmART Space, Juliet discovered an interest in early childhood education and developed a social emotional learning approach to her teaching. In 2015, Juliet joined the specialist team at Citizens of the World Mar Vista Charter School, where she spends the school year teaching visual arts and arts integration for elementary students.
