Sally Chung is a painter and teaching artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Her large-scale ink paintings on paper display portraits of women utilizing symbolism and text to create a contemporary Korean American folklore.
Sally graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from UCLA in 2015. Since graduating she been working with student artists from Pre-K to High School during her time at CSSSA (California State Summer School for Arts) at CalArts, VAPAE (Visual and Performing Arts Education) at UCLA, and P.S. Arts. She is passionate about enabling creativity and helping young students find their own voice through arts education.
