BFA, Rhode Island School of Design

Sarah Aspinall is an illustrator, author, designer and educator. Born and brought up in the English countryside, Sarah later came to the U.S. to attend the Rhode Island School of Design, where she graduated with a BFA in Illustration. Since then, Sarah’s work has included the creation of fabric designs, costumes, props, characters, and designs for children’s television, animation, and theatre.

Her most recent creative venture has been a children’s picture book series with U.S publisher, Scholastic; ‘Penguins Love Colors’ was released in November 2016, ‘Penguins Love Their ABCs’ a year later, and ‘Penguins Love Snowmen’ will be released in Fall 2018.

Sarah loves working with children and believes that art education is a fundamental part of raising forward thinking, open minded individuals, who are not afraid to innovate, see other points of view and embrace diversity.
