Class Description:

FIGURE DRAWING (including mixed media):

Explore classical as well as contemporary figure drawing techniques and approaches to developing the human form. Emphasis is placed upon observation, anatomy, structure, line quality, volume, composition and originality. Techniques with graphite, charcoal, conté, colored pencil, and pastel are demonstrated and developed. See the Schedule of Classes for mixed media option. Student furnishes own supplies. Drawing Fundamentals recommended for beginners; portfolio review required for Int/Adv Mixed Media Figure Drawing.
