Class Description:
This class offers an introduction into the world of fashion illustration and the creative process involved in designing and sketching for fashion. Emphasis will be placed on historic and current styles and trends as well as the importance of silhouette, shape, color, texture, and pattern. Using markers and colored pencils, students will learn rendering techniques that will enable them to sketch various fabrics such as denim, tartan, wool, and silk. Supplies included. Drawing Fundamentals & Techniques and Figure Drawing recommended.
