Professional Artist

Brandon Morino is a working cartoonist and illustrator with several published children’s books to his credit as well as a varied assortment of storyboards, pitchboards, conceptual illustrations, newspaper cartoons and animated character design assignments. In addition, he’s displayed fine art pieces at La Luz de Jesus and Van Eaton Gallery.

Brandon has taught animation and character design to pre-teens at the former Animation Creations animation school in Sherman Oaks. A fundamental aspect of his instruction is embedding an understanding for the character or cartoon, which in turn adds a kind of personal investment to the illustration, regardless of whether the artist is 7 or 70.
