The Brentwood Art Center offers private tutoring for students of all ages and levels. It is not necessary to be currently attending a class at the Brentwood Art Center to take private tutoring classes.
Private Tutoring is offered in a variety of subjects, including:
- Mixed Media
If you are interested in taking one-on-one sessions with one of our instructors, please email firstname.lastname@example.org call us at (310) 451-5657.
If the subject you are interested in is not listed here, please feel free to call us, as we have many versatile instructors with experience teaching in a range of disciplines.
Private tutoring rates are based on the number of students in the class, as follows:
|6-12 Students||$300/hour (min. 2hrs)|
All sessions must be paid for prior to the scheduled lesson.
If we do not receive payment before the class then we cannot confirm it, and the instructor may not be present at the scheduled time.
Adults and teens must provide their own supplies. Supplies will be provided for children’s classes.
If a student requests that the instructor travel to their home, rather than working at the BAC, there will be a minimum duration of 1.5 hours for all students, and an additional $25 per session. This $25 fee goes directly to the instructor to compensate them for travel time and costs.
Cancellation policy for one-person sessions
The BAC will not charge for scheduled tutoring sessions if the student cancels at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. (Tutoring scheduled on Monday must be cancelled by 1:00pm Saturday.)
Without this notification, the student will be responsible for the full fee for the scheduled session.
Cancellation policy for group sessions
The BAC will not charge for scheduled tutoring sessions if the group cancels at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. (Tutoring scheduled on Monday must be cancelled by 1:00pm Saturday.)
If any individual within the group cancels at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson, then that student will not be charged. The tuition cost for the rest of the group will be adjusted to reflect the actual number of students attending the lesson that day.
